What makes in5d Connection unique from other dating or social networking websites?

With other dating and social networking websites, many of the people you're meeting are unawakened and will look at you as if you had 3 eyes and 7 chins if you talk about anything spiritual, metaphysical or esoteric on your profile. On in5d Connection, we encourage it! Plus, on our website, literally every member is a like-minded, co-creating soul.

Additionally, other websites will buy members to inflate their membership numbers.  All of our members are organic, which means we refuse to buy profiles like other similar websites.

 

I registered for an account but did not receive an email verification.  Why?

Chances are, your profile is incomplete.

 

How many emails can I send each day?

Paid users can send unlimited emails.  Due to spamming and bandwidth usage, free users are limited to sending two emails per day.

 

I'm trying to send another member my email address but it's showing "******"  How can I send my email address to another member?

I recently changed this so you will now be able to send your email address to another user without any issues. 

 

I sent a long email and it was never delivered.  What happened?

Our software limits emails that are overly too long.  If you try to send a lengthy email, you will receive the following message, "Your message is too long and cannot be delivered!"  Simply hit the back button on your browser and the email will still be there.  You might want to copy the email and send it in two parts.

 

How do I add Twitter to my profile?

Go to Profile/Settings, and click “Link to your Twitter account”.

 

How do I add Skype?

Go to Profile and add your Skype info at the bottom of the page.

 

How do I embed a video?

Go to Profile > Upload Video.  From here, you can either search YouTube for a video by entering keywords or you can paste the URL (NOT the embed code!) into the search box.

 

I pasted the URL to a video but it’s not showing up.  Why?

First, make sure you are not trying to embed a playlist or a video DIRECTLY from someone's YouTube channel.

Second, the URL cannot have a long extension on it. 

For example, if I click on a video from the in5d channel, the URL looks like this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bw5jaeUCjeo&feature=plcp&context=C48473b1VDvjVQa1PpcFOK5rFGBea9hEjc-OzImgY799fFJ9Jwljw%3D

versus if I do a search for the same specific video, the URL is much shorter:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bw5jaeUCjeo

The difference is at the point in the URL where it FIRST says “&”.  On the first example, just paste everything up to the “&” and you will have no problems adding videos :)

How do I add friends?

Click on the person's profile who you'd like to add as a friend and choose "Add to Friends"

 

How do I change my profile skin?

(Paid members only).  Click the Profile link, then click Settings.  Scroll down to where it says "Profile skin:"

 

How Do I Customize My Profile Skin?

(For Premium members)

Go to Profile > Settings

Select one of the profile skins and save the changes.

Click Profile > Settings > Edit Skin

You can either use an image from your hard drive or add an image from the internet.

Please keep in mind of the size requirements (no larger than 450x450 pixels.   If you need to resize any pic, you can do it free online at http://www.picresize.com/

To add an image from your hard drive, click Browse and select the picture. 

To add an image from the internet, right click the image and either choose “Properties” on Internet Explorer, the copy the Address (URL) or on Firefox, right click and select “Copy Image Location”.

The link will look something like this and should end in .jpeg, .jpg, .gif or .png

You’re going to have to experiment a lot in customizing your settings.  I won’t have the free time to personally help everyone do this as I work between 12-15+ hours every day on my websites.

The Position option shows the location on your profile where the image will be shown.

The Attachment option gives you a choice whether you want your image to move when someone Scrolls your profile or whether you want it Fixed in position, where it will remain in the Position you have chosen above.

The Repeat option will duplicate the image down and/or across your profile.

As for colors and links, try to pick colors that are easily readable with the profile background color and image that you have selected.

Keep experimenting until you get exactly what you want!  Your profile is your palate and you are the artist!

 

How do I change my relationship status?

Go to Profile/Settings and choose your current relationship status from the dropdown menu.

 

Why am I unable to upload a picture to my profile?

There is a size limit for photos, which can be no larger than 450x450 pixels. You can resize any photos free online here:  http://www.picresize.com/

The photo needs to be on your hard drive so if it's on a photo storage website such as Picasso, right click the photo and choose "Save Picture As" (For Internet Explorer) or "Save Image As" (For Firefox) and save it to a location on your hard drive (such as Pictures or My Documents). Then, click Profile, Edit Photo, Browse and browse to the location where you saved your photo and upload the picture to in5d Connection from that location.

 

How many pictures can I upload to my profile?

Due to bandwidth restrictions, free members can upload 2 pictures while paid members can upload up to 15.

 

How do I post in a Group?

First, you need to be a group member.  Once you're a member, go to the group page and select "Message Board".  Then select, "Start New Topic".  To respond to a post, click any topic, and select either "Reply" which will quotate the post you're replying to, or select, "Add New Post" on the left hand column.

 

Why can’t I find anyone in my hometown?

in5d Connection is a brand new website and while we’re bringing aboard lots of new members every day, it’s possible that there may not be members in your hometown. Other similar websites will buy profiles to artificially populate their member count.  in5d Connection will not do that.  All of our members are organic, real and have great hearts with pure intentions.

Please keep in mind that, sometimes, your soulmate doesn't incarnate to the same geographical area as you, so try to be open minded about meeting people from other areas of the country (or world)... you never know :) 

if nothing else, there are a lot of cool groups being formed on in5d Connection where you can meet new people and like-minded souls, so you have nothing to lose and everything to gain!

 

 How do I report spam?

With a free membership, you will be able to search for like-minded souls, update your profile, add pictures, join in on live chat forums and will be able message other members up to 2x a day, which is limited to prevent email spamming and to control bandwidth. You can access in5d through mobile apps and are able to use the FaceBook, Twitter and MySpace integration.

If you notice someone spamming, you can simply click the "Report Abuse" option on the left hand side of the spammer's profile and the spammer will be immediately terminated (this method is preferred). Or, you can use the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of each webpage.

 

What is a Premium Membership?

A premium membership is one that can be billed monthly, quarterly, semi-yearly, yearly or lifetime.  All premium memberships help to fund the cost of this software, the server needed to host the software and maintenance of this website.

 

What is the difference between a Free Membership and a Premium Membership?

With a free membership, you can send up to 2 emails per day (limited to prevent spamming and bandwidth over-usage) and are allowed to upload up to 2 pictures to your profile.  You are also able to upload up to 2 videos to your profile as well.  You are not able to start groups but you can join and chat in as many groups as you wish.

With any of our Premium (Paid) Memberships, you will have unlimited messaging and can customize your profile any way you want!  You will be able to add up to 10 videos and 10 mp3’s to your profile, which can include a personal greeting so interested viewers will be able to actually hear what you sound like as well! As a paid member, you can create Groups and select your own administration and moderators.  Skype integration is included if you would like to chat to another member who has Skype. Real time instant messaging and your own personal blog is also included with the Premium membership, too! Paid members are able to post free classified ads in our forum and can see the status of their emails (whether your email has been read or not) as well.  One more bonus: You will also be able to send e-card to other users!

How long does a Lifetime Membership last?

Our Lifetime Membership lasts for 10 years. Hopefully, by then, you will have found your match or will have made enough amazing connections with like-minded souls! All memberships are non-transferable and cannot be resold to others.

 

How do I know if my account has been upgraded?

Click "Billing" on the upper right hand corner of the webpage to check your status.  Please allow up to 24 hours to be upgraded.

 

My password and username do not work from the previous version.

In5d Connection sent a group message to all members who were using the previous software, notifying them in ample time to tie up any loose ends and to copy their About Me and My Match info because we would all need to sign up for a new account with our new software.  This also means that your previous username and password will not work unless you register for a new account.

 

How long does it take for approval for a Premium Membership?

Premium Memberships will be approved within 24 hours.

 

If I purchase a membership and then terminate my account, will I receive a prorated refund?

In5d.net will issue a refund within 72 hours of an initial subscription provided that none of the Services have been utilized. Beyond these conditions, requests for refunds will be at the sole discretion of In5d.net and will be reviewed on a member to member basis. 

 

Cancelling Your PayPal Subscription

If you would like to cancel this subscription, log in to your PayPal account and go to the "History" subtab of the "My Account" tab. Choose "Subscriptions" from the pull-down "Show" menu and press the "Submit" button. Choose this subscription, and click on its "Details" link. You will be taken to a Transaction Details page from which you may cancel your subscription. Cancelling your subscription will immediately stop all future scheduled payments for this subscription.

 

I can’t afford a premium membership.

The economy is really bad and a lot of us are eating a lot of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches just to get by.  If you’re as broke as I am, then just ask me and I’ll upgrade you.

 

I was here from the beginning and received a free Premium Account, which expires in 10 years. At the end of 10 years, will I be billed $150 for the next 10 years?

No. At that point, your account will default into a Free Account user status.  You have absolutely nothing to lose, so enjoy your premium membership!

 

Do you accept any other payments besides PayPal?

Not at this time. With PayPal, you will be able to use most credit and debit cards.

 

Will my information be sold to 3rdparty interests?

Never. We respect your privacy. :)

 

How do I delete my account?

Go to Profile/Settings and select “Delete Account” at the bottom of the page.
